FAQs

Is Down the Road a Non Profit?

Yes Down the Road Festival acts as a vehicle to raise money and awareness for outer banks shorelines and ocean conservation. We also raise money to donate towards families in need in the local area. Please refer to our non profit info page for more!

How do I get in?

The Beach event happens at Abalone Street in Nags Head. The access to the beach is free and open to all. To access the night concerts you must secure your entry. You can do that at the door, in person or during the Beach event. The Art Festival is free entry.

How do I get there?

Norfolk and Raleigh are the closest airports.

The weekend events are spread throughout the Outer Banks, spanning from Duck down to Nags Head.

Where should I stay?

We do not have a specific space for vans or tents and we do not encourage camping at the beach.

We recommend getting a spot in Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills to be centrally located to all the events.
